Terms and Conditions for Burntune Courses

These Terms and Conditions apply to all Users and All individuals who have registered and paid to get enrolled into our Music Courses for individual music lessons or, group music classes (classified as a “Student” or “user” or “You” or “Your”) of the online platform of Burntune Music and Media Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Burntune” or “us” or “we” or “our” or “Company”) a Private company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 having registered office at Flat No B-18 Shree Siddhivinayak Pl Haveli Pune Undari (Part) (N.V.) Pune, Maharashtra, India - 412308 on the Burntune Platform. The Burntune Platform includes all aspects of the Website and Apps which includes but is not limited to products, software and service offered via the Burntune Platform or any service or application that Burntune introduces from time to time

How it works

Burntune Music & Media Pvt Ltd offers a wide range of courses catering to diverse interests and abilities. Courses last 6-12 weeks, with new semesters starting throughout the year.

All courses shall be consumed digitally, and once enrolled, students receive an email with details of how to login to an individual student portal, where they will receive the articles and information they need to get started.

All major credit and debit cards are accepted. We also accept payment through Internet Banking. We do not store credit/debit card details. Our trusted payment gateways use SSL encryption technology to secure your card information

Right to use your content

You may post reviews, comments and share with us any music, audio, video or any other other content; send other communications; and submit suggestions, ideas, comments, questions or other information as long as the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringement of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any other form of spam.

Further, you give Burntune limited, royalty free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the User Content and communication in developing its Platform and in any of its marketing or promotional activities.

Deposits and Refunds

Every user or student required to deposit the particular amount or fees for any course being offered by the Burntune and full payment to be made before being enrolled to the first session of the selected course.

We reserve the right to increase the fee for any course at any time as deemed fit by us.

As far as refunds are concerned, we want our users and students to be satisfied and our every course or programme is eligible for refund based on certain conditions and below are our inclusive terms which governs our refund policy :

How to apply for refund - Refund applications must be made in writing to our official email id info@burntune.com and shall contain the reason for refund attached with all relevant documents based on which the refund shall be processed within 14 days of receipt of the refund application on the sole discretion of the Burntune.
Time limit to apply for a refund - Students can withdraw their enrolment and can write us to claim the refund for the amount they have deposited before or after the commencement of their program or course which they enrolled for. But once a student completes 30 days from the day of enrollment/purchase of the course, the application for a refund shall not be accepted at all unless there is an exceptional happening or occurrence which will be considered by Burntune on a case-to-case basis.
It must be noted Refunds are Applicable only if the students has shown clear evidence of undertaking assignments. The Refund claim is invalid if the student forfeits from the programme for his/her own lack of initiative.
The user must have completed at least 15 sessions or assignments in Courses before applying for any form of cancellation or money-back request.
In all cases of LIVE mentorship with Community, student refund can only be possible if there is at least valid evidence that the students has put in efforts for minimum 50% of the duration of the mentorship.
The last moment to write for the refund application is just before the 30th day from the day of enrollment.
Discontinuation of a Course by Burntune - If Burntune cancels or discontinues a course or program stated in the list of offers, we will refund all funds or monies paid for that course or program.

Plagiarism

We at Burntune always discourage the malpractice of Plagiarism as It is considered theft because the user takes content from a source without giving proper credit to the author or its original creator. Before submitting any music audio-video or any other content submitted or uploaded on our site, application or any other online or offline portal whether in the course of his/her assessment or otherwise, user must submit this Plagiarism statement along with his/her name, signature and date and agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Burntune, its subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your act of plagiarism.

Anti-Plagiarism Statement

“I certify that this assignment/project is my own work, based on my personal practice and/or research and that I have acknowledged all material and sources used in its preparation, whether they be any kind of document, electronic or personal communication. I also certify that this assignment/project has not previously been submitted for assessment, and I have not copied in part or whole or otherwise plagiarised the work of any other individual or entity”.

Changes

Burntune may update or amend this Policy at any time, with or without advance notice.

In the event there are significant changes in the way Burntune changes this Policy or the way it treats User's personally identifiable information, Burntune will display a notice on the Platform or send Users an email.

Should You have any concern or reject the changes in the privacy policy You can refuse to accept the amendments and opt for withdrawing Your Personal Information by writing to us at info@burntune.com

Revisions and Errata

The materials appearing on Companies web site could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Company does not warrant that any of the materials on its web site are accurate, complete, or current. Company may make changes to the materials contained on its web site at any time without notice. Company does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.
